Frequently asked questions
Getting started
When is XLeap available?
XLeap is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone in the United States.
Which devices are supported?
XLeap is designed for iPhone. Other platforms may follow.
Which accounts can I connect?
Checking, savings, credit cards, loans, brokerage and retirement accounts at many US institutions connect through Plaid. If yours isn't available, add it manually — manual accounts, property and other assets count toward your net worth just the same.
Can XLeap move my money or see my bank password?
No. Connections are read-only: XLeap can't move money or place trades. You sign in directly with your institution or the connection provider, and XLeap never receives or stores your bank login.
Subscription
Is there a free trial?
Yes. XLeap Private comes in monthly and annual plans with the same features, and new subscribers start with a free trial. The App Store shows the price for your region, whether you're eligible for the trial, and how long it lasts before you subscribe.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → XLeap. To avoid being charged after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Deleting the app or your XLeap account does not cancel your subscription. For refunds, see Apple's refund instructions.
I subscribed, but XLeap doesn't show it.
Use Restore Purchases on the subscription screen while signed in to the Apple Account and the XLeap account you subscribed with. Restoring doesn't charge you or move your subscription to a different XLeap account. Still stuck? Email us.
Privacy and your data
Is my financial data private?
Your data is yours. We never sell or rent it or share it with advertisers, and the app has no ads or tracking SDKs. We use trusted service providers to operate XLeap and collect diagnostic information to keep it reliable. See the privacy policy for details.
Can I lock XLeap?
Yes. Turn on Face ID (or Touch ID) in XLeap's Settings, and the app asks when it opens and when you come back to it. Your iPhone passcode works as a fallback.
How does the AI assistant use my data?
The assistant is optional. Before it shares your messages and relevant financial details with its AI provider, XLeap asks for your permission. You can turn sharing off in Settings at any time; the rest of XLeap keeps working.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, open Settings and choose Account management → Delete account. This deletes your XLeap account, disconnects your banks and erases your financial data. You can also email support@xleap.app from your account's address to request deletion.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription — cancel that with Apple.
Using XLeap
Are projections financial advice?
No. Time Leap projections are estimates built from your balances and the assumptions you choose. They're tools for your own planning, not guarantees or personalized advice. See the Terms of Use.
A balance or transaction looks wrong.
Balances come from your institution and can lag by a day. If a number still looks wrong, email us the account type and what you expected to see — no account numbers needed. We treat wrong numbers as our top priority.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email support@xleap.app with a short description. Screenshots help — hide your balances first if you'd rather not share them.
